Time Has Told Me
Well, it's been two years since my last (and first) post. So I think we can safely say my foray into the world of blogging has got off to a flying start. My thanks to the seven hundred or so visitors who have stumbled across this blog. I hope you enjoyed what you found, and for those of you who returned at a later date, eagerly anticipating a second post, here it is. Thanks for your patience.
For myself it's difficult to believe that two years have flown by. This merely demonstrates that our perception of the passage of time varies from one person to the next, and is purely subjective. Judging by the speed at which time is passing for me I must be living in dog-time, which means I must be about a hundred and twenty years old by now. And going strong, let me tell you. Why, I'm in my prime here. Failing any mishaps I should live to about three hundred, fathering many many children, hundreds, possibly even thousands.
Of course It might seem to me that I'm living a long time, but the opposite may be true. From someone else's point of view I may actually live a remarkably short, yet glorious, lifespan. It's all relative. So which is true? Nobody knows. How did I get onto this subject? Probably best not to dwell on it, and just get on with the serious business of having fun and enjoying your life.
